In the Iran-Iraq war Iranian F-14 had 160 confirmed Air to Air Kills vs less then 8 losses and most kills were with the
AiM-54 now Iran build an upgraded version of the AiM-54
and most of our loses were do to the lack of parts, Iran was under sanctions and embargoes so we didn't have parts for our fighters and we had to start building our own part still we only had 8 loses
The only reason U.S. retired the F-14 was because it was a high maintenance fighter

No Iran's yearly budget is $300 Billion not its Military budget
Iran's Yearly government budget is about the same as Israels, Turkey & Egypt combined
over 90% of all our new weapons are made in Iran
that is a fact that is why Iran spends less than $10 Billion on its Military
Labor is basically free(very cheep), Fuel is free so most of the money goes in to development
Saud Arabia spend $30 Billion a year on its military and they don't even have one Submarine

after the 1st golf war due 2 UN resolutions Iraq was not allowed to have Missiles that had a range of over 300km
Saddam was a minority ruling a Majority & Majority of Iraq's population is under 18 so he had about a Million Male supporters capable of fighting & not all of them picked up a gun
