I think this song is kind of political. "50 months and they will drag you from your throne" that's 4 years which is the maximum term of presidential office in the US. And "You are not what you were when you were young" Sounds like it might be referring to the country as a whole. Because we're not what we were. We are much more open minded, and we have progressed much, despite constant opposition. We have to continue to overcome, I encourage everyone to try and change the world for the better.

I'm on a guitar with no G string. Had to try to figure it out. Tuning that works fine for me is C# Ab C# [nothing] Ab C#. The key is really between D and C#, so I tuned it that way.
