  • Still love the sounds of the gong and lusheng.

  • qeb leb maum... qeb leb maum as... means be careful I'm coming to get you.

  • i heard "neb hais tias"

  • I don't know why but I love the sound of the gong. I like listening to Miao drums and gongs especially during rituals and funeral. The sounds of drum and gong are... to me are beautiful. lol

  • great Song !!!!!

  • I love the song

  • hey on 0:54 she was speaking in hmong green or moob leej or Hmoob Ntsuab

  • i didnt hear it? what did she say?

  • one time at band camp........

  • YOU LITTLE BITCH ASS BITCH

  • For a while I thought those Qeej were spears! You need lungs like wind tunnels to play those suckers.

  • not really =w= you breathe through them to play it =w=.

  • lol...i found the comment to be funny...i had never played a qeej before but i would assume the same thing!!! :D

  • hmmm...this is intresting.

  • Also not ALL MIAO are Hmong. While Chinese were grouping the MIAO they not only grouped HMONG but other tribes or whatever you want to say that lived in the hill/mountains. So not all miao are truly HMONG. So you can't really say MIAO people are HMONG.

  • To the people that don't know MIAO is HMONG SUAV also known as HMONG-CHINESE. Hmong did not originate from Miao it's the other way around. Miao originated from Hmong. If you didn't know Hmong were the first to live in China but then Chinese came and kicked out the Hmong and named them Miao (from what I know miao means barbaric/cat? don't know about cat thogh).

  • I donť think it's so different. Hmong and Miao are different names for one nationality (try Ethnologue)

  • We came from them just less than 200 years ago.

  • this song is cool and she have a nice voice.

    i like her v......very much.....

  • Google "Guizhou" and follow the links in the first item. You may need help from a Chinese friend because many websites are in Chinese.

  • Sorry, this is for vangshadow's question.

  • But whoever is Miao has to be Hmong right?... So?

So why do you guys claim her to be Hmong?...Is it because you have no one else to look up to and she is the closest thing that will ever come to being so famous for hmong people? how pathetic...Hmong people... how embarassing you can't cannot equate Miao history with Hmong the end...

  • :D We have Jerry Yang in America

    Ayouduo in China

    Someone, someday in Thailand...

    ;D

  • Jerry Yang!!!!#!@#$%^*@# What THE HELL!!!!! THAT mother fucker is a PSYCHIATRIST!!!! Rich enough already!!!! JUST BECAUSE THAT FUCKER GOT like some big amount of money doesn't make him famous okay! And it is actually quite sad that you would even say that he is like AYouDUo for "us" hmong in Maerica!!! UGH!!!!!!!!

  • Well, about being famous, I guess Jerry Yang is famous for winning the Poker tournament (just for that instant period in time)...no one said he did it for the Hmong people, it's just that he is Hmong and that plays into who he is (just a bit)...

  • yo Jerry Yang is Taiwanese

  • Nhia 89: Hmmm...I think he's Hmong. That's what my Uncles say and they're the type who are into poker...

  • no i looked it up on Wikipedia, he's Taiwanese.

  • he's not taiwanese dude. he's hmong. didn't u watch the world poker series on pay per vie,w and when he won, he was shouting and cryin in hmong

  • World poker series on Pay per view?

    i don't watch poker, i play poker.

And if he was famous, how come i never heard of him.

  • Nhia 89: I think you might be thinking of Jerry Yan from F4 lol

    ;D

TRDboi85: Really? Now that's funny! I want to see that...lol..hahahaha...I would probably do the same thing if I was in JY's position, however I don't play poker

  • um...i didn't want to intrude this conversation because it's one of those funny argument, but i just want to point out that jerry yang is hmong...he said something about the refugee camp during an interview...anyways...famous or not famous doesn't matter, what matters was that little by little the Hmong people are slowly coming up! I mean like being the first person to ______...you know that kind of thing.....

  • Really?... Which vid on youtube actually having footage of her saying that?

  • ofcourse..hmong teens hea in US..have no lcue..

they can't even speak their own language..or read it..

how sad..seeing other race translate to their parents..and hmong teens can't even do that..what a shame..

  • i can't understand..i mean is she speaking hmong? w/e..i still think it's so cool..i've never seen anything like this..it's just hard to believe they're hmong...hahha. and not to be mean or anything but she sounds like a chicken..

  • tracingamy for real people can't get that through there head... lol we live in the u.s so we are called hmong but in china it's miao... lol.... i thought all hmong peeps knew that but maybe not.

  • Thumbs up! :D

  • chengkhang you're just jealous cause you're not white hmong! you green people used to eat humans! so, shush your ass up chengkhang

  • did u guys hear what did she says in the beginning of the song she says are u guy sure about our hmong if ;u speak hmong green and i'm green and i'm the real kind of hmong people so yea if u are white hmong i'm so sad to u guys if u are hmong white

  • ugh were practically the same thing. We're still Hmong.

you speak in a Hmong Green dialect, good for you I can speak all the dialect because my mom is Green and my Dad is White and I learn to talk in Hmong chinese dialect. Yo man were all still Hmong. Stupid

  • Nhia89: You're so cool! Seriously! I mean the fact that you can speak both green and white dialect is known. But now learning Hmong-Chinese...I want to do the same too!!!! Where are you learning?

    ~mbf

  • its not that hard and are u mocking me?

  • Ahh...! NO, I am not mocking you. I know, it sounds like it, but I'm not, really! I do really want to learn how to speak all dialects of Hmong, that way when I'm older, I can travel to where all the Hmong have been and try to write down some history...But seems like maybe some people will do that before I get to...that's a good thing too...

  • Ok just making sure.

    And are u even Hmong?

  • Ok just making sure.

    And are u even Hmong?

  • Kuv yog, nkauj Hmoob Vaj.

Also, wiki is not always true or accurate. Have you ever heard of Paolao Accolora? He was the first king of the Phillipines...for two days on Wikipedia and then got found out and deleted...My friend was trying to be a wise guy...I was thinking of doing the same thing for the Hmong, pretend that we have our own country and democracy since B.C.E...LOL...

  • Don't make rude comments. Hmong and Miao are the same people. Miao is the term used in China. Hmong is the term used elsewhere. Get it straight; frankly, I find this offensive and I'm know (as a Miao), that I'm not the only one.
