The strafing runs were my least favorite aspect of this game. Bombings were difficult but somehow more rewarding than strafing.

Oh man, even decades after the fact, I remember actually becoming terrified when I reached the mission around the 26 minute mark. As I had lost pilots to far easier missions and only recently had to recreate a new one, I was completely baffled when I somehow pulled through. What a great game this was!

i had 352 planes shoted down,then died 3 missions before end,created a new caharacter,flyed 2 missions and war was over lol.

i didnt watched the whole 4 hours but did you died during the game?cause the scene when you die is great

I had a legit copy but the game would ALWAYs randomly stop and come up with a pirate warning that accused me of having a pirated copy. Anyone else have that problem???

This is exteremly good flying!! Excellent. I just made ADF from my old floppies, and put this up on my Amiga Emulator on my trusty Mac. Works fine, however, flying with a mouse is quite bad. Has anyone tried the USB version of the Competition Pro? I think I will get me one :-)

i always loved to read the journal,i really could feel with the 56.

but part 1 of your video ends in may 1917 and part 2 starts in september 1917 :-( why ??

Awesome game. When i played this game i was 8 years old, and had no idea how to save a game :) So i never got this far.

By the way, the funeral scene & music of this game is incredibly beautiful. Just perfect. Even as a kid i was impressed by its class.

Its been awhile since I played it, but one thing that really stands out in my mind are the unlucky first incident(s) of shooting down an opponent and then crashing into him before getting a chance to evade :)

I got this game when it came out but I've only gone through it from start to finish ONCE. Longest game I have ever played on the Amiga.
