I honestly think Nocturnal is their best work and hasn't been topped since. I'm not a fan of new guy Ryan's solos and he's probably the prime reason why I don't like Ritual. Deflorate had great everything except solos. Very few good solos. Ritual was a letdown for me actually. Great musicians, average work except for like 3-4 songs. Nocturnal forever.

@sammetal91 My favorite album is Unhallowed, but being a guitar player myself, Deflorate had the best solos. Ritual was too Ryan-ish, although he still is a fucking amazing guitarist, only a few songs from there caught my attention. Nocturnal is what represents them though.

@GoongalaGoongala I Will Return was/is (for now) the single most epic song ever written by any band ever...and Deflorate had one thing that made it just as good, if not, better than their previous three albums...and that's Ryan Knight...not only is he an incredible guitarist, but getting another writer in the band and not just having Brian write all the music (which isn't exactly a bad thing...it's just nice to have a different perspective and writing style in the band) really made it stand out

MIASMA was close but Nocturnal is just a beast on it's own. There are some dark ass songs on there and solos fit PERFECT with the songs as well. Trevor's tone and lyrics ALWAYS impress but Nocturnal had some damn good songs
