Thanks for uploading these. Nice to see a possitive side of Afghanistan. It doesn't seem tas bad as it is now, and it does seem like an interesting place to visit, but the video is from 2002, so it is outdated! Things are A LOT worse now, but it;s still interesting to see. I don't think it showed the whole reality of back then either, because this was right at the begining of the US invasion. Maybe the Taliban hadn't spread that far into the country yet!

the GREATEST and most spiritually fulfilling role for a woman IS to RAISE a family. Forget being a psychologist or a doctor - these r mere titles tho admirable in their own way BUT nothing compares to the role of a mother. As this guy (my new hero)states women shape society therefore our place is in the home raising children and creating a better society. Jobs r a western concept and have a time limited - a mother is always a mother.

Everything about Afghanistan is beautiful. Every dust particle is gorgeous and I miss being there....the home of my ancesters will always be precious to me. I amy not be there physcially but my spirit will always be there

I thank every Afghan who has fought for Afghanistan. I feel worthless compared to them since they r the ones who stayed for the fight whilst we cowards ran out saving our own asses, they stayed to save the country. GOD BLESS ALL OF THEM

This is a really nice video. I wish I could see more details about the culture of the artists & the people who lived in the hills below the red mountain with Buddah. So sad how they destroyed their art work, that hurts so bad!! Peace in Afghanistan!!
