Mick is not the most technical or flashy... but fuck flashy bollocks. I love mick's playing style, he's not clean and technical, but he has what every guitarist should: guts to go on the fuckin stage and rock you hard. Virtuoso guitar is all about showing off... its not about music its about showing "hey look how good i'm, i can play at 308000bpm, oooh!". Mick has the soul, the creativity and yeah... he's on motley crue, so shut up y'fucking virtuoso guitar wankers and do some rock n roll!

First of all, did you actually select the "register a new account" button under the login, or did you simply try to create a name from the login page? When you select the register option, it should take you to a page where you'll create a username/password. Make sure you mark the box under the Terms of Use and then hit the submit button. Your account won't be active immediately, as you have to wait for an administrator to validate your account. You will get an email when it has been validated.

(cont.) As far as how to use it, you pick the show you want to download and follow the link to the download host (usually Megaupload, Rapidshare, or Mediafire). Some of the larger posts are broken down so you have to download them in parts, but it's well worth it! They have both audio and video bootlegs by the way. I have no idea exactly how many bootlegs there are, but I would guess at least a couple hundred. There is also a nice picture section.

You have to sign up and then wait until they validate your account (to make sure you are a person and not a computer etc.--it usually doesn't take more than an hour or two if that much). There are shows from every era--TFFL, SATD, TOP all the way up to recent stuff. There are even some bootlegs of their side projects and before they became famous. And if you are really active and prove yourself worthy, they will eventually let you into the private rooms where the really rare stuff is.
