@sk8tertater Actually there are 2 types of blanks. One type just has a crimped end the other has a little cap on the end that if fired close enough can kill.

Even if they were using blanks, it's still a close call- some blanks are held in w/ paper, and that's lethal a few feet out of the barrel.
