How can you train to do front&back levers without actually being strong enough to do them yet? I've been trying to work on coming down into a front lever at the end of my inverted pull ups sets but I'm not there yet. Anything else I can be doing?
@wisdometernal for front levers curl your legs up into a ball and hold in a "front lever styled" position. Once you can hold that for say 30 seconds to a minute work on straightening your back and uncurling form the ball so you are in a position similar to laying on your back with your feet flat on the floor and knees pointing in the air. Again work to hold for x amount of time. Progress next to extending one leg, then the other. I think coach summers has a good progression tutorial on his site.
Great control, just out of curiosity how do your hands/palms hold up? You would have to put up with skin pinching on your hands handling the combination of movement and body weight.
quick question- how long have you been working out like this? how did you get so built?
