What I do is plug my mixer's record out to my external sound card's line in (you can use internal mic in also), and record mixes with the Audacity software. This works with anything you plug into a mixer such as vinyl, CDs, or even Serato. The audio can then be processed and exported as mp3 or uncompressed wav. I suppose one could back up vinyls in this way as well.

I think the reason why some of the older seven inch vinyl singles had large holes in the centre was so they could be used in jukeboxes.

haha loved that crazy box opening moment, wooo weeee ahhhh turntable ..
marcomort 3 years ago
It's called a stylus. 1 stylus, 2 styli.
Each turntable has 1 stylus, not 1 styli. It's like saying "this turntable has a nice platters and a tight belts."
Thanks.

I believe it's permissible to say 'styluses' for the plural too.
Hope that helps.

Hey there,
Why did you like this one even though it's a belt drive? You said you were going to explain the difference, and I don't think you did :(
Thanks.

maybe coz it records your vinyl to a computer based format and is reasonably priced ?!
