Gotta admit, this one is near and dear to my heart. The lyrics are moving, totally scriptural, and the harmonies send shivers. It's been over a decade since I was first introduced to this one, and it never gets old.
What you hear in whispers, proclaim from the housetops!

When I was little I use to look forward to going to mass to see if they were playing this song! Now that I'm older, I look in the missal so I can hum this song every time I go to church. It's so catchy!
I love the chord progression to this song. It's such a welcome change, plus it's just fun to sing.
Our band does this for Mass (guitar, piano, bass, drums) and it sounds great with a contemporary sound. (I know that's probably annoying to traditionalists, but it really lends itself to that style.)
Lovely song. The lyrics are powerful. Bernadette Farrell is a true musician. She creates the most beautiful and beloved contemporary Catholic liturgical music. The spirit is always ecumenical and the lyrics are based in Holy Scripture.
I love this hymn! Especially with a mass full of people singing their hearts out with it! I was glad to experience it!

I'm the guitarist for our contemporary music group at church. We've started playing this recently. A very beautiful song.

One of my personal favorites too. I only wish I need not turn up the volume so high to hear the song.
