Anyone know that sequence starting around 3:50 is an homage to? I feel like some 80's mgm or looney toons or some series like that had one little sub series that always ended like that with the stark colored shaped and the brass playing.. Almost tempted to say rocky and bullwinkle but I couldn't find the outro I was thinking of... so frustrating
I'm glad I found this again. I just wish the music was synchronized as good as the original .gif I had seen years ago. Ex: 1:08 the music should change exactly as the attack comes out of the guitar. Everything is off by a second or so, it is mildly disconcerting.
Thanks for this. I guess those who labelled my post as spam just didn't go further than the lazy click. And a nice comment regarding my blog. Much appreciated.
Yeah, after listening to Spinning Wheels it's definitely taken from that... However, what about the animation? Does that type of animation during the very end sort of going back and forth between almost stamped-on characters seem reminiscent of the end of any old cartoon shows? Maybe I'm just crazy.
Wow, what would one call this genre of music? The Rock n' Roll licks with the Techno/Indie (Sorry to group the two together,I really mean like a mix of those two) beats and basslines, really have me confused as to what to call it.
Anyone know what the ending sequence from 3:48 to the end (but especially around 3:48-3:55) is from? It's driving me crazy. I know it's from the end of some old cartoon but I can't remember which one. Same song and animation style... Grrrrr...
Sweet ODIN'S BEARD! I stumbled across this by accident, and I'm damn glad I did. I haven't seen/heard something this awesome in months. Oh yeah, that's how the Vikings do it, baby. With RAWK! Ho, yee-hay-ah!
Basically, marching bands own everybody

Yes, because naturally any viking battle at sea WOULD turn into a giant robot standoff eventually...

The ending was a little... unfulfilling. It just didn't really feel like a true resolution to such a finale as the rock/marching band crescendo.

Too bad Vikings didn't actually fight like this. The Dark Ages would have been pretty sweet.

at the end of the song, the brass band is playing a very familiar melody...starts at about 3:49. could someone tell me where that came from?
