I love Tom's portrayal of the Doctor as i do all the other actors. I think that Tom should of left after 5 years at the end of season 16. 5 years is a good iniings for any actor to play the Doctor.

He was written like a humanised emo by a Dr Who producer who was more selfish about the WHO roots than JNT was to Colin and Tom Baker, RTD. Tennant is just so so inconsistant when it comes to THE DOCTOR, and I get the feeling that, and consider that Tennant himself is a whovian, that he cared more about his acting and his career than actually playing the greatest tv role ever, and you do not just-

1) Tom Baker played goggling eyes, long scarf K9 epitomy of the doctor

2) Jon Pertwee swashbuckling cavalier dandy not everyone liked his approach

3) Matt Smith he is rather like who 3 and 5 a rather nice chap to take you back

4) Wiiliam Hatnell a bit grouchy and spikey but a great actor some brill story's

5) Colin Baker shouted a lot very pompous BBC never gave him a chance.

6) Peter Cushing played a nice version of Hartnell in 2 films very kind eccentric

I'd say Patrick Troughten does it better than the others. That's just my opinion though, Tom Baker is said to the best by the majority of Whovians. He is a very good actor, it must be said. I'll tell you something, though, - nobody does effects better than you, - both 2:17 and 5:38 are fantastic, - just how did you do it?

Well, I can't claim to have made the 2:17 effect, this was part of a video edit that came as an extra on a DVD. It's been uploaded by someone else here: watch?v=SQQskEHWJuI . However, I did edit the 5:38 effect, which was a simple fade from the regeneration scene into the Tom Baker credits sequence. That would have been a nice cliff-hanger to end Logopolis with!
