The neck is involved with the thyroid, so definitely get your neck adjusted. Also you probably need iodine from Standard Process and possibly Thytrophin. Call us to order:412-367-3778. Clinical findings are more important than so called-"normal" blood-work. Good luck.
Hi Dr. I was involved in a 50km/h head-on collision on Sept 26 2011. I am still in the process of getting treated for health problems as a result of the crash (physio + broken teeth). I have also lately had very cold hands and feet, and a waking basal-body-temp of 97.0 to 97.1 degrees. I've also gained about 10 lbs since the accident, my suit jacket (which I bought for my Oct 12 2011 grandfathers' funeral) now barely buttons up. I average about 1900-2100 calories intake daily.
@bmewhiney7 My eating habits have not changed, and I live a moderately active lifestyle, on my feet most all day. Could you please provide me with proper documentation which I can take to my Drs, as they seem uninterested in treating a possible thyroid condition which may indeed have arisen from the head-on collision. Thanks kindly.
i know for sure my thyriod is hypo but my doc is saying that my blood test is "normal". i take my temp. on a regular basis and it reads 96.3 which is really low. what other test can my doc take other then a blood test that will show him that my levels is off? am very very sick and need help and i seem i cant find the right doc, please help!!
Yes because the 7th cervical nerve innervates the thyroid and also you can take certain nutritional supplements which contains iodine, tyrosine, kelp, etc.
I have a hypothyroid, i have hashimoto's encephalitlis or thyroiditis...I have a lot of neck pain and back pain. Would a chiropractic treatment help me?

@bmewhiney7 I should note, I am 5 foot 10, and now weight about 200 lbs, up at least 10 lbs since the crash.
