This is probably Tudor's worst DVD. He really was teaching stuff clearly in Show Vol 1&2, but years and years later, he looks angry (and probably druged ?), and talks BS for minutes, and explain for a few seconds. He doesn't even explain the Tudor Cut 2, he's like "I can't even explain it, it's f***ing too hard, you can't do it". And compared to this, DnD's the System -even if it's not a good dvd in terms of teaching-, is far better than this crap ! At least you can view many times the move.

I feel your pain, I was very disappointed when I purchased the DVD. This trailer is pretty sweet then you go to lean this and it was a complete 180. I sold mine on Ebay after only watching it once. Stick with Dan and Dave they are much better at teaching than Tudor.

I have DnD Trilogy which I would recommend to anyone. I have only seen a preview of the system and it didn't seem too appealing. In all fairness to Brian Tudor I think his skill is amazing. I would also like to add that I really liked Generation X and learned a lot from that but he seemed too bitter on Showoff III and it kind of took over him and his teaching.

oh, the trilogy's teaching is excellent.

but The System, oh boy.

It's pretty much identical to the teaching on this, minus the entertaining rants.

They have a normal speed clip played of the cut, then the exact same clip repeated, then they do it from another angle, and that's it.

About 2 minutes to learn a flourish.

but I personally prefer the cuts on The System, and eventually, you get used to rewinding over, and over, and over again.

I didn't buy this as a beginner fanboy, i'm not really complaining that much about his really terrible teaching, i'm complaining about the fact that the dvd is 24 mintues, and costs around $30! That's more than a dollar a minute, including all that pointless filler in the dvd. Why the hell would you include the trailer for the dvd in the dvd itself!? And then even though you just showed all the moves, oh, I think i'm gonna show them again!!! Tudor hasn't made a good dvd since showoff 1.

I was messing around one day practicing scissor cuts and thought, I can make this a display by pivoting a packet in between my hands, and then I thought I could make it bigger by using a table and my chin, simple! Also, if the point of this was to make your own stuff, then why did he teach (or attempt to teach) his own moves? He used the "make your own moves" as a cop out for terrible tutorials.

I was so excited to get this DVD, it finally came in yesterday and have to say that I couldn't be more disappointed. I really liked generation x but this was horrible. I can get passed the pompus attitude and the horrible teaching. But Tudor completely disrespects magicians, calls them out, and at the end says f the police. Not very professional. He seems like a madman. Come on Brian this is supposed to be an instructoinal video not a vending session. I will be posting it on ebay.
