Well obviously it is going to miss the foot when they drop the tombstone piece because that would hurt if they actually did it you idiot. That is't a production mistake it is what they are told to do. These mistakes are mistakes I would like to see you try better xD

Biggest mistake got to be rimmer actually falling on the table!! Always winds me up that does, but I do love red dwarf. It seems they may be experimenting with tho whole hologram situation in the early series perhaps, seeing as he sits on chairs and lays in a bed, but hey they probably thought at the beginning that they couldn't have Rimmer standing up for the whole series and not interact with anything,

You should also note that, I am not sure if you look carefully in the episodes Kryten and Parallel Universe, and I think Queeg, you can easily see Norman Lovett's black shirt tracing in the darkness of the blackness behind him. I have seen this in the DVD's.

surely the biggest mistake here is the fact rimmer is a hologram and cannot touch, yet he falls into and moves the table, instead of falling through it.
