Actually if its anything like a windows form applications then you only have to dim variables if you have user interface by that i mean if the use is typing in commands that will have to do math or a string of words
The course itself is quite good i never took it on to A2 mainly because of my teacher
if you get the kind of teacher that expect you to no how to do something straight off and do it then read up before and get a head start don't lack behind else it will be VERY! hard to keep up
But learning programming is quite fun even though i have'nt done it since last year i can still write a program with quite alot of ease i would assume with a2 it will get alot better
