Nathan was thee sex symbol of the late 80's, and as I recall the band were huge in Japan for a while. Cheesy tune, but great to listen to nonetheless, and just another in a long line of fabulous tracks from that decade. I grew up through the 80's, was surrounded by brilliant music all over the charts, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I like to dance and I always remember Brother Beyond on 'Top of the Pops'. I've grown to 7' 2" and was pissed at the time. The key seemed to be the pelvic thrusts. So pelvic thrusts it was. Wedding party. Celing height 7'6". And I got a bit carried away. Jumped a bit.

The track lasts 3.09. In which time 4 holes in the ceiling; empty dance floor; 2 smashed tables; a girl under each arm and, I think, 3 men riding piggyback. And one destroyed relationship.. oh and my shoe fell off.

I think it's fair to say that Nathan really got in to a PWL tune - he seemed to enjoy stomping around to these initial hits. Remember the 'Yonde emergence well, I think the equally quick demise was typical of a group who depended too heavily on the look of its lead. Not as good as the breaker 'The Harder I Try', but still good enough to evoke great memories.
