i got 2 years till i can be a voulunteer firefighter, then go to collage and get a degree, and eventualy go to a big city and try to get into a fire station...

wow! I have many friends who are firefighters. i understand the life of a firefighter and how strong willed you are, one and all. i hope others take the time to realize most of these men receive little to no pay at all for what they do. they not only risk our lives everyday, they do it out of the kindness of their hearts, many being volunteers!! i think they all deserve a huge thank you for all they do for we never know when they will be there to help us next. god bless your large hearts!!

yea the only that would make my place awsome is if we had a pole! ha! I like it, actually the city next to us is the same size so in the fire department we basicly become one and each city FD responds to each fire in those two citys makeing it more man power because we only have 5 men on shift at one and two men at station 2.
