this really helps, ive been playing this exercise for like 2 or 3 weeks and i really have seen improvements. all you gotta do is practice everyday or like 5 days in a week and youll do. its pretty easy when you get it done
Ps do it with an amp, anyways you wont know if you are really doing it right
@AlexM1175 get a dean or an ibanez or even esp if your ok with high frets get the ibanez but if your more of a low fret more rounded fretboard like fender get dean
another thing to add for people starting to learn sweeping would be to learn economy picking.. at least i think.. i dunno. i use economy picking more then alternate.
Don't you teach the other sweep? Like the arpeggio style I think it is.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought of this "exercise" lol

"not a real chord"? it's called a 'tritone'. go back and learn music, instead of electric guitar.

that's cool, I never saw an actual exercise for sweeping; most of the time, an arpeggio is the exercise itself. seems like a good idea

Thank you Aaron. This is the only excercise I have found which
truly prepares both hands for a uni-directional sweep. You are the man...
