  • This is without a doubt recorded by Heifetz, I have the recording on my iPod. The spiccato sounds exactly like Heifetz, and not other violinist has spiccato quite like Heifetz

  • This definitely Heifetz. I own 1957 Heifetz

RCA Living Stereo record with Reiner and Chicago Symphony. You are listening to Heifetz 1957 record with Reiner,Chicao Symphony.

  • This is the recording made by Heifetz with Barbirolli and the London Philharmonic from 25 March 1937.

unfortunately Fritz Kreisler never recorded the work, so please do not make this mistakes...

  • None of Kreisler's discographies list him as ever having recorded this and it doesn't sound like him.. I think its actually Heifetz

  • I didn't think Kreisler recorded this. That would have been so special with the tone, feeling and artistry of the great Kreisler!
