What makes a perfect arrangement is the equal distribution of parts. Every voice is given the chance to shine in perfect timing. This particular arrangement has that. It equally showcases the voices, where it almost sounds like a solo. Bravo interpretation, bravo arrangement.
THE BEST VERSION I'VE EVER HEARD. Pero parang USTing-UST ang repertoire nyo...? I bet your conductor is from the UST Singers. Am I right? pero for my taste, you sound lighter and more pleasant. In operatic repertoire though, UST Singers can effortlessly give the vocal demands.
It's Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck (1562 - 1621). I sang this in college a couple of times, and it remains my favorite arrangement of the "Cantate Domino" text.
I LOVED singing this piece with all of the choirs at the first Choral International Festival! It was pure heaven! Thank you for coming and being a part of something so wonderful that even my children enjoyed! What fun we all had! PLEASE come again!!! You all are a joy!
Very good singing. One of the most famous Dutch composers. Would like to hear more from this ensemble.
