I absolutely love Sean Penn in this movie. He is so kick ass. Just look at him on that picture up there. He is so fine. He and Madonna were sooo.. good together! He is an awesome actor too.

I went to high school in the early 80's and lost a lot of good friends to violence and tragic accidents, this movie reminds me of them and how lucky I am to have made it to this point in life, so saying this movie is special to me is an understatement, we all came up the hard way, the best we can do is keep trying :)
