I just heard Richard Jeni for the first time the other day while driving to my cabin. I was laughing so hard, I had to pull off the highway, to a rest stop, just so i could breath for a few minutes.

There is a joke of his that I can not remember or find. It was from A big steaming pile of me his 2005 show. He talks about rich people in New Hampshire being fed up and strapping a door to their ass and jumping into the ocean. Anyone have the full joke?
A truly gifted man! saw him in Atlanta back around 1991 and he absolutely tore the Punchline up! the crowd laughed to no end. He's been afav. of mine since the 80's and will remain a fav. forever. Great material on this video, thanks for posting! R.I.P. Mr. Jeni, you cracked up millions of people.
Wow, I just heard this guy in some Flash Video, and I was thinking. "Wow, this guy's like one of the funniest people I've heard!" So I was looking for info, trying to see who it is! So someone types saying it's Richard Jeni. It made me happy that I actually finally found some Youtube videos, what didn't make me happy was that... When I googled his name... It said he was dead. Wich was really really sad, so therefore I salute the Richard Jeni, for being awesome. Rest in peace.
@Melodicalshock Worse than that was knowing who he was while he was alive, loving his top-shelf comedy, and hearing the news that he'd killed himself. It was like losing a member of the family.
I saw and met Richard about a year before he died. He was clearly not feeling well that night but he was kind enough to take a picture with me and my dad. He also apologized "for being so out of it."
I'm still in disbelief. He was one of my all-time faves and I had followed him since his first appearance on "The Tonight Show."
Amazig stuff. I am a big RJ fan ever since I saw him on HBO many years ago. In fact I even attended the same High School as he did a few years later. I thought I had heard all of his material. I check on Youtub every so often to see if something new was poted. Seeing this was amazing. I don have to tell you how much he is missed by all of his fans. He was truly an comedic genius who left us way to soon.
@JonHawaii2003 Thank you for posting this. Even this long after his death, I still think of him as one of my all-time favorite comics. Greg Giraldo was good too, another one gone too soon.

Damn Rich was funny. I got his Best of album, but he kept it clean. It's great to here him uncensored.

No, it was a great crowd, pretty big actually but the only mic you can hear them through is his own. This was not set up for a professional shoot.

I wish now that I had recorded every show we did. We did a Sam Kinison show about a month or so before he died.
