ive been wondering all these years how the fuck do they measure and know for sure the amount of audience that tune in to them including tv ratings as well how the fuck do they do that?? how do they know im watching channel nine on thursday nites and channel ten on fri nyts?? is there a guy that nakes up polls and ratings and shit for media?

They give out a certain amount of set top boxes to a decent sample of the population and then make up their statistics from that. It is never 100% accurate. They also do surveys.

alsoo..apparently they can tell how many t.vs are switched on to their channel, or radio station. don't ask me how, i heard it off someone in from channel 9.

They do surveys. Once someone came around and asked if we would fill out a survey. We mistakedly said yes. It took us around a week to finish. It includes what you watch every week.
