I'm actually going to assume this season like Xros Wars will be divided into two seasons as with Xros Wars and Death Generals. So once the first half of this season wraps up, the continued season will begin again say about two or three months later, and hopefully by then we'll see the leaders' story arc and their involvement.

Okay, I will try to explain something to you. Shinegreymon is not variation of Agumon. You have to understand that Digimon have more than one digivolution line. There exists Black War Greymon too and he was as strong as War Greymon if not even stronger. This pure evolution is bullshit. Also, Omnimon was stronger than WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon since he was combination of them both, while WarGreymon on his own couldn't beat Diaboromon in the movie. Paildramon is combination (PART 1)

(PART 2) Combination of Veemon and Stingmon, he is made up of two Digicores fused together so he is stronger than regular Perfect/Ultimate digimon, just like AeroVeedramon. Agunimon is one of the legendary spirits and if you watched Anime you would remember that other Chosen from Frontier could transfer their spirits to One Digivice
