Gotta agree with limpadtotheleft, a poorly written song as is all the songs of her new album. Dunno who advised her to to get involved but I don,t think they did her any favours.

Totally agree with you. I can't seem to readily embrace this song the way I do most of her songs. It IS a 'tuneless dirge.' (As I recall, my original comment for this video made mention of Dame Shirley's hairstyle. I didn't mention this song.)

I've always liked Bruce Forsyth, since I was a kid in England , been in Australia since 1967 off and on and I liked him in the Generation Game in the 70s, I suppose you get so use to him on the TV all the time, it's like Bert Newton in Melbourne, he's over 70 and we're all sick of seeing him, and he's not as talented as Bruce.

@adamturner123 That was a different show based on the UK show of the same name, which first aired on the BBC in 1949, running until 1998. Are you sure you had it first? :)

Anyway, this is getting away from the fact that Dame Shirley is incredible!
