  • I think this awesome. growing up, I was raised to speak Tagalog by grandparents on both sides, when I got into kindergarten I didn't know how to speak English :) but as I got older. I became more Americanized and lost my fluency to speak. I regret this, but plan to practice again go pass it on to my children as well. I am married to a Cambodian, and it is hard to follow. but bring multilingual is a special talent. I'm so happy to see you and your children understand our language

  • Good job kuya. "di maibenta" ibig sabihin alam nung Tao (ex briA and Bethany) Kung ano ang pinag Uusapan ng mga taong nakapaligid sa kaniya. Mapa english o Tagalog o ano mang wika

  • ayos to!

  • I really understand but your kids are sooo cute hehe

  • What I suggest is that you talk to your kids in Filipino. Even when their cousins are talking to them in English. In my friend's case, her mother, a Filipina, talks to her in Filipino and even their dialect here in the Ph and the father, half Swiss and half German, talks to her in Swiss and German. And she communicates very well with her German, Swiss, American, and English friends.

  • How sweeeet!! and Your kids are adorable!! cool vid mann! my dad spoke to me growing up in tagalog but i never could speak it good,,till i went to the philippines for schooling for a year.. im fluent now :) but if my dad never taught me then for sure i woulda been *sold*

  • My sister does that too to her two childer, learning both Japanese and Tagalog. But since they live they'd be better in Japanese. Like your children, they'd be using more English than Tagalod but it's admrable you guys exert effort to teach them. Because someday they will want to go visit Philippines, at least they have some understanding of Tagalog. May not fully understand it but will know part of it.

  • @marcus09ayen Hahaha.. siguro upang hindi maloko. Dahil walang alam sa ating 'WIKA."

  • Cool!

  • hello! buntis ako ngayon pero ngayon pa lang pinag-uusapan na naming mag-asawa na dapat turuan ang magiging anak namin ng tagalog. taga-louisiana asawa ko at taga-pampanga naman ako. just wondering how you guys do it. not sure if i have my facts right but i read that children born in a bilingual environment tend to lag behind in their linguistic development. anyway, keep up the good work. God bless u and your family.

  • @babyaimee910 I am a speech/language pathologist and we have studied that the earlier the kids are exposed to and learn to speak many languages, the more proficient they become in those languages. They won't lag in their linguistic development unless they already have an underlying developmental delay. But if they are normally-developing kids, they should be fine when exposed to 2 or more languages..

  • ur so cool dad....hehehehe.keep it up teaching other kids for tagalog words

  • @animehunter0808--- "para pagdating ng araw, hinde sila maibenta sa pilipinas at sa amerika" -- basically it means that as they understand filipino and english, people from the Phil and USA won't be able to talk behind thier back.

  • @ 1:25 " para pagdating ng araw, hindi sila maibenta sa pilipinas at sa amerika..." waht do you mean by that??? just curious...

  • @animehunter0808 its an expression parents say when they teaches their kids the language from the native land....basically its just an expression...lol cause my parents uses it with me too and my siblings cause i dont know my own dialect..so they tell me that peoples can sell me if i go home in the philippines n i visite my province...but i understand a bit...hihihi

  • Napakahusay mo nang magwika ng tagalog, dude!

We applaud you for that kasi napakahirap matuto ng ibang salita kung wala sa puso mo ang kagustuhang matutunan yaon. Mabuhay ka.

  • i am also pinay and married to Hispanic American and I also wanted my future kids to learn how to speak in 3 different languages...Tagalog, English and Spanish...i also teach my husband how to speak tagalog like you. muybien, very good, magaling! hehe God bless
