She actually auditioned for the same producers, composer/lyrisct, and book writer that many of the other actresses have auditioned for. They hand picked her and her alternate. I have no doubt that Jillian will be in one of the productions sooner or later.

I don't get!? Is half of it englsih and the other half japanease? How come some of the songs are in english then some of them are japanease? Oh she is a realyl great singer though!!

parts of it have to be in Japanese because it's IN JAPAN, but they couldn't go thorugh the trouble of translating the songs because it's a small producton, I guess. It's a just an attration in an amusement park after all. However, they DID make a full Wicked production in Japan which just opened on June 17, which is the full blown story, with Fiyero, Boq, Nessa, etc. and the songs are all in Japanese. Give te girl credit, she's native english speaking and has to learn a new language!

Actually Jillian was born in New Jersey. She is American. The other non-Japanese performers were mostly from Australia.
