  • amazing nice love the song

    : )

  • see those 72,636 views, i'm pretty sure that i've accumulated 150 of those views. true story.

  • listened to this at least 10 times now

  • @LifeChurchtv : very inspirational song. can i have the words of the speech from 2:50 to 6:35 please?

  • And as Ravi Zacharias said there must be "Unity in Diversity". Diversity alone is crap, like what the media is feeding these days. That's why there's still much discrimination, both traditional and reverse, since there's no Unity.

  • Still one of the reasons that Sunday morning is one of the most segregated hours in the week. The CHURCH should be the leader in this! Cross-Cultural, Multi-Generational. But then again that might not sell as much as the hipster gathering...

  • @bradmercymusic Are you unhappy just because they didn't include a black guy? The fact is most white people hang out with white people, and same with minorities. I'm Asian and have been to an "ethnic" church where it's all Asian young people hanging out. What's wrong with that?

  • Great job. Great song. But why is it only young white people? If Christ died for all (and I believe He did!) then could not the producers include young, old, black, red, brown, yellow AND white?

  • @bradmercymusic Please don't bring Affirmative Action into this. Christ died for ALL the earth, not just politically correct America.

  • The resurrection makes no sense. What was the purpose of this (supposed) resurrection ? And why did 12,000 others resurrect on that first Easter ?

  • @ndzoko 12,000 who?

  • @KNyamekye Matthew 27:52-53

"and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many." ....

  • Absolutely brilliant. Thank you...

  • I love this song

  • i feel like jesus is ticklin me :D i cant stop laughing and feeling tingly out of my joy to be a servan of him :D

  • This is such a beautiful collaboration. I love the work of everyone involved individually.. but when they come together... DANG. haha, God is too good. I'm so thankful He has blessed these people with such encouraging ability

  • @vhgjk123 You really think you're clever don't you?

  • How do I join this cult?

  • I didn't believe in god until i saw this. Thnx you for this.

  • @finkleje Ya me too! This horrible generic bad songwriting/poetry convinced me that no God could stand to listen to such garbage. Therefore The Flying Spaghetting Monster is the one true God. May he bless you with his noodly appendage

  • @finkleje thats awesome...

  • @finkleje yeah right

  • Love it.... completely blown away! gave me those Holy Spirit shivers...Praise You Lord! xx

  • this was so awsome, I love the man who spoke poetry that is true worship. so many chruches will not let poetry be spoken during worship this was very inspiring!! Thank you!

  • HEY ITS MATT MAHER 20 YEARS AGO !!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHA

  • Gosh I tear up every time I hear this song <3

  • very very very nice poem there.

  • beautiful! It's always wonderful to see His people use the talents God has blessed them with to praise Him.

  • @annettesome I was just thinking the same thing... and because a talent I've not been raised under or am used to shouldn't make me feel uncomfortable if God is being glorified and His church is being edified.

  • Good job! lead singer makes it look like it hurts to get the words out

  • put this on itunes! i want it :)

  • awesome job guys!!!!

  • He doesn't rap. He sings praises.

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • No joke, my radio alarm went off this morning and I heard... Come awake, come awake come and rise up from the grave... that was a beautiful way to wake up!

  • WHO is that blonde girl singing??? I LOVE her voice!!!

  • @bellboy251 Marcy Priest

  • you guys should come to Michigan and do a concert this was very inspiring!!!

  • Saw these guys at the Civic Center at Oklahoma City!! Woohooo!! Praise Jesus!

  • Love this song and video! W performed it at our Easter service last year!

    Thanks for posting this !

  • Simply anointed.

  • This.... is...... ermmmm......... QUALITY!!!

  • the cinematography is great and so is the performance but it's a touch pretentious..i don't mean to be harsh but the performers are a bit distracting.. I agree completely with the spoken word portion and that Christ has risen but it seems like the focus is too much on the people in the video. I guess I like more simplistic versions of worship. Thanks for letting me share, God bless

  • AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gives me chills everytime C: It woulld be really cool if David Bowden made like either a book or a dvd of his poems...He is sooo talented!!! C:

  • Praise God!

I have so much love for my Protestan brothers and sisters.

    Love and prayers,

    a Catholic friend

  • And we claim today the cross’s Word

    The body of His rising

    We are the risen church

  • We will not succumb to your finality We have overcome your infamous mystery The infinite reign of Christ’s ministry For we are the resurrection, the insurrection of fatality We are the risen deity The intersection of a dead yet living body We live through imperfections but we die to become holy We cannot be contained by the mouth of the grave We are the willing slaves to the one who rose from that garden cave We pass through death to new birth We gave the grave to the earth
  • Bringing up this inquiry: “What does that poor Jewish man dying on a Roman tree 2,000 years ago have to do with me?” I reply simply: “Christ came and died To marry His bride-to-be And though death could kill the Groom It could not kill the ring God made us one with Christ and life in matrimony’s cling” Now the undying church, His ever-living wife Can sing… “O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?” For we have risen above your misery
  • Divinity immersed Itself in humanity Humbly taking on flesh Scorning vanity The world saw His way of life as insanity Insisting He cease speaking of this radical Christianity But man found Him guilty Accusing God of blasphemy Performing the ultimate usurpation by slaying Christ on Calvary But through their cowardly cross Jesus embossed mankind with amnesty Championing over death with the beauty of His fatal injury And I know many still doubt, and rightfully so
  • Ignoring truth for some comfortable inference I see his emergence in our churches As we pull out emergency verses As determines to religious differences Going on the defensive Defending our way of worship Making community worthless Death is killing us before we even enter the surface of the earth We are in service of his words “It is finished” The end of our birth We cannot hide from his wretched curse For death and his grave we constantly rehearse Even God Himself was coerced
  • Pressing down on the oppressed and the oppressor I see him in depression and Prozac and pain pills and razor blades and bedside wills I see him in abuse Physical, mental, emotional misuse I see him in spiritual confusion Material obsession Physical possessions I see him in marital transgressions Child with remorse from an ugly divorce I see him in our slavery to appearances Appearing to care more about our images Than those in dying villages I see him in our ignorance
  • For his meal he cannot wait So we are forced to taste him even before the grave We are all dying There is no other way I see him in Haitian and Japanese earthquakes He’s hating the escapees of his cruel wakes I see him in poverty Impoverishing the quality of life for regions that are reachable And in those with the reach who find reason not to reach out to treat what is treatable I see him in disease Taking life out of un-infected yet affected families I see him in oppression
  • And I saw him - death with his mighty sting Exhaling in every breath the plight he brings To the grave he gave victory Triumphing over life with the fear of endless sleep Endlessly we hide from our mortality Mortally wounded from birth We lie to ourselves from infancy Infinitely investing time in a life that will inevitably be taken By this incredible creature that now stands before me Death He manifests himself on ordinary days His six foot stomach growls with hunger pains
  • Totally amazing, breathtaking worship. I´m singing with you!!!

  • Amen

  • Awesome video! Hope God continues to do great things in your church! God is defiantly existent and real by the way!

  • For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. ~Proverbs 24:16 We are risen with Christ! Death where is you sting, Death where is your victory?

  • monoracial hipster SLAM poetry. #uhhhh
