  • David NEEDS to get back together with the Talking Heads. One of, if not the, best concerts I ever saw

  • Byrne - on of the truly great original talents; imagine him with Mercury and Zappa!

  • way ahead of their time

  • EPIC!

  • Simply amazing. Goose-bump-good stuff !!!

  • Thanks for uploading !!

    Greets from Austria / Europe

  • Agreed! David Byrne is at the top of my Gotta See Them Live list. Saw him in Atlanta last year. Amazing!

  • that's what I call a show!

  • This video convinced me to see him live. Best concert I've ever been to.

  • Sooooooo Cool! Thanks so much for that.

  • Man that was excellent, wish I was there

  • Sorry guys, best encore ever was last night (Feb. 28th) was Burning Down The House at Radio City, NYC where he joined in a kickline with the Radio City Rockettes. Effin brilliant!

  • Yes, and I was there and it was fucking amazing!

  • SO JEALOUS!

  • good, but not quite as good as Brian Eno joining D.B. onstage for the encore in London....

  • When did that happen?

  • @jsimon, any vid of it??

  • I'll never forget that show.

  • This video is amazing! Can't believe how wonderful Byrne sounds in the concert, his voice still keeps young. I really hope I can see him on tour!

  • Technically third time for EAMB. Two years in a row at Fillmore, one with Byrne watching from side stage with EAMB staying in the crowd complete with simulated sex on the floor, and the 2nd year together on BDTH encore, I think with bullhorn vocals. Anybody remember the crowd reaction at the Fillmore to "This Must Be the Place"; they wouldn't let him start the next song? I've never seen anything like that, but it also happened at the Monday show after, hmm, can't remember, anyone?

  • Thanks for the video! It was an absolutely great show and the marching band finale put it over the top!

  • Dang! The Extra Action Marching Band with _clothes_ on. Sheesh.

  • The show was amazing. I've never heard Byrne's voice in such fine form, and while not usually recognized for his guitar-playing, Byrne displayed absolute mastery. Personally, I wanted to hear more from the new album (Everything That Happens). I've been plumbing its depths for weeks, but not many audience members seemed familiar it. They were appreciative but less than ecstatic. IMHO the new stuff was simply gorgeous. The evening was also a tribute to the genius of Brian Eno. Thanks Mr. Eno!

  • The marching band is called "Extra Action Marching Band". They are based in San Francisco.

  • AWESOME!! I'm going 2nd SF show tonight. Can't wait.

  • I think it's pretty safe to say members of the marching band live all over the bay area, folks ;)

  • Marching band is actualy from Oakland. Thsi si e second time he's done it, he had them come on stage 3-4 years ago at the Filmore - he is such a talant!

  • Agreed. Best encore ever. The marching band came down the aisle and pushed the dancing audience aside to get up on stage. The marching band is from San Francisco.
