EA in the 1990s were good guys, their games were amazing until a new president or leader of EA arrives in 2000s, which decided to fuck up EVERY GAME THEY SELL, look at Battlefield bad company, its not the same anymore... I miss BF2142...
@vidioinspector Westwood was an independent studio which was then purchased by EA and disbanded after a bit and then EA took complete control over it. They did good with C&C3 and Kane's Wrath but fucked up bad with Twilight and RA3

How do you know Tiberium Dusk had a less dark atmosphere? By the few videos that float around, or the sketchy pre-alpha screenshots? That's like trying to judge C&C 4 before it comes out (ignoring that fact that EA is making it, and it will obviously fail harder than even Kane's Wrath).
Look. Westwood has their game looking like an art form. It had a style. It was unique. All EA is doing is stripping it down to a burnt husk and adapting it to popular image.

The money and fans speak over the few that want a different game...Well, then, it wouldn't be red alert, would it? Just make your own RTS game using tech from the RA universe if you're not satisfied. (It's not like this sci-fi stuff hasn't been used before, anyway...)
Give good reasons why the game would be better off not looking like it does now, with facts and proper science behind it. Without that, your argument is not valid.

he does provide some good points, but in the end, back with C&C was westwood and much better, it had a darker feel to it. EA wants money and its obvious. :P

I just dislike it when people start irrationally calling EA "FUCKING IDIOTS" because they're just testosterone-pumped teens who can't respect people who make their games. I like C&C, but it's not my way of life. I'm just trying to make a point here, that's all.
Besides, if you wanna know, I can tell you, that WW's C&C3 was to be less darker than EA's, and would've ruined the Tiberian atmosphere much more.
Though yes, TS had nice atmo...

How do you know Tiberium Dusk had a less dark atmosphere? By the few videos that float around, or the sketchy pre-alpha screenshots? That's like trying to judge C&C 4 before it comes out (ignoring that fact that EA is making it, and it will obviously fail harder than even Kane's Wrath).
Look. Westwood has their game looking like an art form. It had a style. It was unique. All EA is doing is stripping it down to a burnt husk and adapting it to popular image.
I'm glad the series is done after 4.

Seriously, I find that the cliffhanger at the end of C&C3 is much better.
RA 3, well I might give it a shot again, however you kinda know where the story is going (if you know the RA universe, besides the idea of timetravelling is getting repetitive.)

Heck, even the community leaders from big C&C fansites went to EALA and saw how much the guys at EA were big fans of C&C themselves. Though some mentionned "I don't agree with everything they have done with the new games, it's still great to see they care enough to continue the series!".

RA2: I use infantry on a brutal enemy, and won.
Tib sun: 10 seconds for an nfantry to kill another one.
Tib dawn: same as RA1
RA3: They had realistic damage, and shit and stuff. JUST GO PLAY IT YOURSELF!!!
