  • This song, oh my god this!

  • This is one of my Favorite songs ever... then theres Kid A.

  • I love the king of limbs album so my secret santa thought I would love this and bought me the In Rainbows album. This is probably the best song in the bes talbum from the best band in thw world

  • In Rainbows deserved Album of the Year in '09, regardless of how the band feels about commercial success...

If you're looking for more dreamy/trippy rock music in the same vein as Radiohead, check out my channel. (It doesn't come close to being Radiohead, but still worth a listen !)

  • This song has inspired me to live life to its fullest . <3

  • The best band ever they have have done so many songs that have made my heart, Coldplay only wish they could make this magic

  • Chris Martin only dreams about being as talented as Thom Yorke.

  • FUCK YEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH

  • Someone asked what my favorite song is, and my stream of consciousness directed me here. That's crazy.

  • I believe my cerebral cortex just came.

  • too good

  • the way he sings "your eyes" is the thing i can never get over. I noticed it when i went out for a jog listening to it and i stopped at the pure melancholic beauty, it made me realise how much emotion radiohead put into a peice

  • OK Computer is their best album.

This song is something else, though.

  • every hair my body stands to attention with this song

  • This song takes me out of my own body. Is that normal?

  • this is probably one of the most beautiful songs radiohead's ever written.

  • This song NEVER gets old. NEVER.

  • love this song....

  • Am i the only one who keeps following the lead through the whole song... so sublime...

  • One of the best songs, so calm.

  • I hate when people say, 'like if you're watching this in 2011'. It's like nooo I'm watching this in 1500 BC on my IStone.

  • @ZiggyIre

    haha iStone no.1

  • favorite song... i love that drum in the beginning. I tap it with my fingers all the time.

  • @5kier the whole drum arrangement through the entire song is awesome, to the last cymbal hit.

  • best album ever made

  • Best album they have ever done.

  • One of my favorite Radiohead tracks.

  • I don't care what anyone says, this is my favorite album from them.

  • @exterMEANator

and may i say that you are not alone in your taste and decision!

  • @frednolasco SAMESIESSSSSSS

  • @exterMEANator

agree! and best song imo. i'm hispanic, grew up in a barrio where exposure to this type of music was near zero. radiohead was one of the first bands that opened my eyes to what's out there and how vast the world of music is. each album has their place, but this is the one i'd recommend when introducing someone to radiohead. in regards to this song...just so deep on so many levels...simply AMAZING!

  • @exterMEANator Absolutely!! In Rainbows is a sublime experience of music and exquisite singing that gets inside our veins and run wild!! Radiohead= rEspect from the Shallow Ends, yEah~

  • @exterMEANator agree. the typical list is Kid A and OK Computer as the undisputed best Radiohead albums. But as time passes, people will realize how amazing In Rainbows is.

  • @EATwist i listened to this entire album on repeat for four hours straight while riding a train about 100 feet high throughout the Balkan mountains overlooking a bunch of rivers and what not. it really gave each song such significant meaning.

  • Maybe,we should all sit back and recollect how beautiful life is.

  • What a rad song, if I had a soundtrack that play over amazing moments in my life, this song would sure be on it. We need more songs like these, instead of pointless, auto-tuned songs, that don't mean anything.

  • @EATwist

    +While high.

Don't leave out the important details.

  • Over the last 40 years, this song reverberates... brilliant any time today!

  • Damn! an excelent song and me with just 2 ears, I need more!!!

  • This song will always remind me of my son Kurt this song always grabbed his attention and calmed him when he was first born.

  • @dusttyfholes

Maybe he was unruly because you named him Kurt

  • @fatfuckfucker Maybe, but I think it was just cause he was an infant. In all fairness it was cause of Kurt Cobain, just in case you were wondering.

  • @fatfuckfucker Second this.

  • i keep coming back to this song...the epitome of cloud nine.

  • @EATwist da da dada douche!!!!

  • This song is Awesome.

  • Not as good as the original. Interesting, though.

  • @superclaydude oops. wrong version of the song.

  • This band is misunderstood. Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant verbally called Radiohead "rhyming crap"..

  • @VanillaSnow23 This song is better than anything Robert Plant has ever recorded

  • Phil's drumming is so damn crisp..

  • I wrote the lyric 'I hit the bottom and escape' on my feet. no idea why.

  • im drunk as hell

  • I've listened to this song 1,059,778 times.

  • @therealWesley no you haven't, that would require you listening for 17 years.

  • @luketucker2008 wouldn't it only be 10 years of listening to this song?

  • @4bobbryar4 probably, i was tired and making a point so lets let this one slide.

  • @luketucker2008 haha alright i wasn't trying to unjustify your point

  • If I had written this song I'd be the smuggest motherfucker in human history.

  • This may be my favorite song of all time and I am a certified music snob.

  • Cant say anything thing about this song its just so perfect

  • @notfunny700 lol 2 things :D

  • I think this is the most beautiful song in the world.

  • This makes me think of people who commit suicide. Like when he's saying

    "I'll follow to the edge

    of the earth

    and fall off".

Lately people in my school have been dying. One of the latest ones involved a murder, and the other one was a suicide. sad.

  • @MsCheekybunbun What the hell kinda school are you going to?

  • @biohazird5 A normal one with occasional deaths. Those just happened to be really close together.

  • this is music at its best

  • trippin on shrooms while listening to in rainbows its a full experience , every songs contains a flavor a different color :) enhanced sounds and visions ...

  • @nyxen true dat.

  • Damn, Ed's backing vocals are simply divine on this song ...

  • I love this song so much its the best song ever

  • And I...

    I hit the bottom

    Hit the bottom, and, escape

    Escape

  • are there more songs from radiohead like this? soft and chilled... thx

  • @AxCYeR i dont think this one is soft and chilled, but "jigsaw falling into place" is similar to this one, to me soft and chilled would be, "All i need" or "sail to the moon".,, there is a lot others

  • @AxCYeR Check out everything on Kid A, Amnesiac, and In Rainbows, there are a few that aren't like that but there are a lot that are.

  • @themadmoose245 thank you mate, i'm gonna check them all out.

  • @AxCYeR there are a lot more.... try Reckoner, Lucky, Subterranean Homesick Alien etc...

  • Look up "While The City Sleeps - Rooftop Dreamers", kind of similar industrial triphop techtures yet huge emotional crescendos.

  • My drug of choice? Music like this...

  • If u guys think the studio version is great listen to the live from the basement version. I swear every time i listen to it I feel like im in a trance

  • INSANE!!!!!!!!

  • all you have to do is close your eyes and listen...

  • this song, this band puts me in an alternate universe...

  • watch the prague version jonny goes ape shit on the arpeggios

  • probably their best song

  • oh my god. i can't even fathom how amazing this band really is.

  • Is it wrong that I think this is the best song ever written?

  • @VonnegutFrusciante

    Absolutely not.

  • @VonnegutFrusciante why on EARTH would it be wrong to think that

  • @VonnegutFrusciante absolutely not.

  • @VonnegutFrusciante If your wrong I dont wanna be right

  • @VonnegutFrusciante

No, but you can think that of "Street spirit (fade out)" and "How to disappear completely" too ^^

Radiohead have just too many amazing songs.

  • @arcadefire82

    and Nude.

  • ESCAPE

hit the bottom and ESCAPE meaning when you're at your lowest of low feelings, you escape from the crutch you resort too, and enter the world around you. NOT commit suicide. Although there can be many interpretations of this masterpiece.

    ESCAAAPE!

  • This is beautiful. I don't listen to many rock artists. Can anyone recommend any other Radiohead songs like this?

  • @clairefedfield reckoner

  • @clairefedfield try to listen to All "In Rainbows" you will like it :)

  • @clairefedfield Its hard to recommend single radiohead songs. You get the most enjoyement from this band listening to theirfull records. They have great flow and picking single songs kinda destroys that. Listen to in rainbows, ok computer or kid A.

  • @ProfoundShaolin im not a hipster n_n and nope im not mad :D

  • @ProfoundShaolin i think radiohead is too popular for a hipster to defend :P

  • @ProfoundShaolin Hipsters don't appreciate real emotion and authenticity. They're more about narcissism and overly priced thrift stores.

  • @ProfoundShaolin vote up for the douche joe budden fan.

  • @Z9470210 Joe Budden > your life

  • fuck ur penis, radiohead's more than that could ever be

  • This song describes what space looks like for me

It's just like a star floating somewhere in the universe

  • 2:26 is like that time Goku turned Super Saiyan after Frieza killed Krillin

  • most favorite radiohead song

  • if you like radiohead and you dont like this song there is something wrong with you. This is one of the greatest songs ever.

  • went fishin... i wait weird fishes.. duh

  • Listening to Radiohead late at night when I'm drunk and bored is the shit.

  • @truthisbest liver failure isn't.
