Seen em 10-11 times from 90 to 2009 in warrington. Fucking mint .

  • amazing perfomance !!! One of the best bands from UK ! Tim is a great frontman !

  • @supermellonman Yeah, I saw them in Amsterdam in '91. They played in The Milky Way. Maaaaaan, one of the best concerts ever. I was totally, after the acid house, Madchester at that time. That's the reason why I hardly remember anything of the concert. The proof that it was a great gig;-)) . I saw them again in 2008, same place, different times but still as wild as I wished.

  • aguante charlatans loco !! vamos carajo ¨^!

  • Brilliant then....even better now..... :)

  • Love the Charlatans! Anyone see them on tour round this time 90/91? I found a song by their support band from that tour on here, The Perfect Name Pineapple Chunk, wtf happened to them!!? Nice blast from the past though if you were there back in the day when the Charlies first took off! Tim's gone a bit Ian Brown clone in this vid...image is better now they'r doin their own thing but the music was always top.

  • yeah right ziggy their first albums came out in the same year, and while the roses took FIVE YEARS to record a second album the charlatans had delivered two more storming records, not full of wanking and egoism ie john squire

rip rob collins, a genius right up there with ian brown

  • Pretty good for a Roses tribute band.

  • not bad for a roses tribute eh they have been around longer made more money and lived off of more than 1 album PRETTY GOOD TO ME.

  • hehe i agree, but sadly i'm not entirely sure about the money though

  • Well said mate!

  • MrBillup - this was broadcast in 94 or 95 and I the drumming is the thing I always remembered, hence finding this vid. He is fucking superb. The whole band are!

Think the bloke out the Arctic Monkeys is the best drummer around though ;)

    TH

  • 1996 it was broadcasted

  • justice for the drummer!

  • Nearly as good as Whiteout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • worst comment ever award to mrBillUp

    one word - Reni.

  • Amen.

  • Touche.

  • CARN'T THINK OF WORDS!

  • seen em 32 times for a damn good reason! x

  • God bless you for uploading this. The Charlies were supposed to be supporting Oasis in Scotland at Loch Lomond the weekend after Rob's crash. Everyone around me seemed to have a hoot that day but my feelings were muted. The Charlies continue to strive to match this peak in their musical career. Christ they've tried hard. Live forever Rob!!

  • They peformed this 2 weeks after their founding member Rob (Keyborads and songwriter) died in a car crash. The keyboards were filled in by primal scream's Martin Duffy. What a time, you can see the stress and grief in Tim's face.

  • Awesome stuff!

  • I stand by my accusations!

  • We are rock
