  • omg!!!!! that was beautiful really.... would u mind if i used it to sing along with ???

  • @BellahMel07 On YouTube? That's fine if you credit & link my original vid (since you asked nicely). :) Thanks so much for listening and I hope you'll sub and share with friends.

  • yay! nice to see a guy who not only appreciates Tori, but can play her music with some justice. :)

  • @somethingtidal I take that comment to heart--I not only have a deep connection to her in a number of ways and have a love for her, but to be told I play her very complex and powerful music with justice is big to me! Thanks so much for checking out my vids and commenting! I am dying to post more stuff--I've just had stuff get in the way.

  • Love it :) xxx

  • @TeamStephenson Thank you so much! Any requests for future videos? Please subscribe!

  • Just beautiful. The piano playing gave me goosebumps. I'm a huge Tori fan, appreciate this video.

  • So glad you stumbled upon the video then! I may do a 'remake' soon. I'm moving into my own place and will have an office/studio where I hope to record and of course do more videos. I'm no virtuoso on the piano, but have always been told I "get" each song and put emotion through in ways they can't teach, which I'd rather have than expert playing!

Blessings and add me as a friend/subscribe!

  • What you have been told sounds so much on spot to me. Your heart tells :)

A musician can have insane good technical skills, but if he / she lacks heart, it's worth zip zero to me !!

    Keep ´em coming mate !

  • Thank you so much for your time and kind words! I completely agree--it's in the heart. I'll definitely post more when I can. Subscribe if you wanna!

  • incredible, why cant really talented people be famous instead of all this crap we hear all around us! you are wonderful..

  • You made my day with that comment! Amen to you I say. I hate how the music industry has truly become industrial. Talent, artistry, depth, passion, emotion, etc...none of these apply anymore. This is exactly why true artists need to use what's at our disposal to overthrow the system. With Youtube and similar sites, some people ARE getting noticed, getting albums sold, concerts booked, etc and the corporate machine can't touch 'em! Thank you so much for listening and God bless.

  • arr bless you, i meant what i said i hope you get somewhere, my husband also plays the piano and he too is very talented but that doesnt count for much nowdays. anyway keep doing what your doing maybe someone wise will fall upon you! we also do music if you would like to go have a listen.. be honest though please. x well done again!

  • That was awesome!!!

  • Thank you--hope you enjoy the others!

  • yes! you did a fab job on pretty good year! you should sing other tori songs. how long have you played the piano?

  • I learned to play by ear at an early age, lessons at 1st or 2nd grade until 7th and then a couple more in college, where I got a vocal music degree. I haven't found an outlet for my creative talent (besides YouTube) but hope to reach people through music in whatever career I end up finding. What other Tori songs would you like to hear?

  • I love silent all these years!

  • I shall have to do that one soon then!

  • OMG, I am haunting your "related videos" section. Pardon that! Nice work. A few things: the sax sounds really good on your keyboard. The sound quality on the video really isn't bad so you don't even need the caveat in the description. Finally, didn't you say you preferred the sparseness of Putting the Damage On... but it seems for Playboy Mommy, your arrangement is rather dense? Either way, you did a good job as usual. Five stars.

  • Thanks-I have a Roland and they are incredible instruments. I'm a stickler for quality, so I wanted to explain that I'm back to a webcam and teeny tiny built-in mics, but I'm glad you think it sounds OK. And yeah, I do like the sparseness of PDO, but this is a different song and has a different vibe.

  • I love Rolands! Mine is a Roland as well. This is one of my favorite songs, btw. I'm glad you played it.

  • Fastest response time ever there dude! Mine is a KR375, so it's incredible but definitely NOT portable--which kinda sucks. When I figure out how to connect my professional mic into my computer, I'll do more singing...might 'remake' previous posts.

  • I checked my comment section and there it was! If I figure out how to wire the kb into the PC, I'll use to to make mp3s. All of the songs for Tori will be in video form first. Otherwise, the ones that got special treatment would create jealousy and resentment in the others. Your kb is fantastic. Mine isn't at that level, but like all Rolands, it's incredibly powerful/fulfilling, and fortunately this one is portable. Good luck w. whatever you are working on next.

  • I know what you mean! She has an immense catalog of work and she just keeps the music coming. Thanks for your comment!

  • sounding good. one of my favourite Tori songs. though there are so many of them.
