Media can exaggerate things, tell lies and everything. But any government should allow media to cover whatever they want to. In any democratic countries there're media with anti-government coverage. Those media are mostly not controlled by government. I'm from China and i know what is going on in my country. You said there are government-controlled and brainwashing media in US. Yes but the sad truth is in China we ONLY have those kind of media.
