see i dont understand why hed kill himself! it makes no sense, he says he doesnt want people to forget wat happend so he kills himself. he should of stayed alive so that no one would forget.

He didn't kill himself, he "fell from grace" In the begining of the movie he was told by Uriel how Amitel fell from grace and became human. At the end, Gabriel did the same thing. He became human so he could "understand what happened and why" like he said in the ending. Check out the ending deleted scenes.
