well i've only bin in the one in paris but it's the only one i believe that has loops in it or not? also i just love the space canon they build you're shot off and then you fall down it's a real funny idea as a small kid i really believed that space ships were shot off from a canon like the one of paris's space mountain XD

Their Tomorrowland seems so different with plants and the Observatron and the essence of a great big beautiful tomorrow. @tdog177 It's not a joke, and it is the Space Mountain running today that was designed by Walt Disney Himself. The California one looks very cool, and the one in Orlando has cool new sound effects in the takeoff tunnel after the 2009 refurb! see one of the videos to hear it! :D I hope to ride the one in California sometime soon ;)

yep i'd agree been on wdw sm and dlp sm and paris is just a far more intense ride to me, maybe it's also a sign of how peoples expectations have changed as to what a roller coaster needs to do to give you that buzz i mean when the first sm opened how many coasters where out that had inversions, and barrel rolls etc.
tokyo got their refurb 2 years after DL's.The imagineers made the rocket ship have an animation.DL's doesnt, It's just covered in pink and orange LED lighting.Their both cool :D
I have some great news! I read on the Orlando Sentinel that an interactive queue for WDW's space mountain has been confirmed! The queue is going to be way different but the music isn't changing!
Listen.You guys can't compare wdw's right now because it's in refurb.Disneyland's is only better because it had a 2 year refurb.Before it went in refurb It didn't have a strobe tunnel or music. only 2 cars had music.Disneyland's and Disney World's are my favorite.I think there shouldn't be competition since WDW's is just NOW going in refurb.
I don't think there would be a comparison after the refurb.They both have something special.The music has already been confirmed on D23(disney's official fan site)and the track, cars, and re-entry tunnel is getting replaced.The queue is getting enclosed so the ride can be pitch black.There is going to be a lighting package for the inside and out.There would be no comparison what so ever and tokyo would be in last place since it's going to be the only SM with no audio.

Out of all the Space Mountains, Paris is the last one I would ride because people think, in order for the rides to be good, the rides need to be fast, tall, and looping.
Disney World is my favorite because it is the original, which you can't beat. Paris doesn't go along with Space Mountain it goes to a story of a stupid guy who thinks you can get launched to the moon by a cannon. That's impossible!
That's not true anymore, since 2005 you fly to a supernova in Paris Space Mountain! Also it's not about a stupid guy thinking it's possible to get launched to space by a canon! The canon was built to hide the launch track in darkness and to absorb the building into the theme area Discoveryland, which is about the first ideas of modern technic in history, for example captain nemo and his nautilus.
While the ride a start of a space shuttle is simulated at the beginning inside the canon!
It's ok that you like the first Space Mountain the most. I just wanted to tell you how the one in Paris really is! I do not like if somebody says something is stupid, but do not no anything about it.
Mission 2 of Paris is better than the first Mission, only a pity of losing Jules Verne's theme. I've also been in the Orlando one, which was also cool :)

Disneyland's (California) Space Mountain is the best. I've heard it's the fastest of all the rockets and the MUSIC!!! You can't beat that. I've been on WDW Space Mountain and the train reminded me of The Matterhorn. I felt like I was gonna pop out (anyone who's been on The Matterhorn knows what I'm talking about). I'll say this about Paris though... it launches you and it goes upside down. I'm Mad. Still... Disneyland in California is my favorite! And great job putting this together.
yes the Space Mountain at Disneyland California is the best, but it isn't the fastest. the one in Paris is the fastest. it goes 44 mph. while the one in California goes 29 mph. still, Disneyland's Space Mountain is much better.
The space mountain at paris has a launch in the beginning, and I tought it was the only 1 that has loopings. That's why i think its the coolest. And because its different. But i'm not sure bout that looping thing, maybe you know ?

There's no other coaster you can compare it with. It has his own space mountain story. And the rock n roller coaster has its own story. Nothing to compare with. Just leave those thing, nobody wil win.
Paris's is probably the best , though it's an argue which one is second- Anahiem's or Orlando's. We'll have to wait after the Orlando one gets refurbished.

Out of all the Space Mountains, Paris is the last one I would ride because people think, in order for the rides to be good, the rides need to be fast, tall, and looping.
Disney World is my favorite because it is the original, which you can't beat. Paris doesn't go along with Space Mountain it goes to a story of a stupid guy who thinks you can get launched to the moon by a cannon. That's impossible!

That's not true anymore, since 2005 you fly to a supernova in Paris Space Mountain! Also it's not about a stupid guy thinking it's possible to get launched to space by a canon! The canon was built to hide the launch track in darkness and to absorb the building into the theme area Discoveryland, which is about the first ideas of modern technic in history, for example captain nemo and his nautilus.
While the ride a start of a space shuttle is simulated at the beginning inside the canon!

It's ok that you like the first Space Mountain the most. I just wanted to tell you how the one in Paris really is! I do not like if somebody says something is stupid, but do not no anything about it.
All Space Mountains are great, each on it's way.

Mission 2 of Paris is better than the first Mission, only a pity of losing Jules Verne's theme. I've also been in the Orlando one, which was also cool :)

i'm using this vid for my music homework. We have to make a story and cut out as many possible words that you can write with a staff bar. I chose space mountain as my topic, which is kind of crazy

Disneyland's (California) Space Mountain is the best. I've heard it's the fastest of all the rockets and the MUSIC!!! You can't beat that. I've been on WDW Space Mountain and the train reminded me of The Matterhorn. I felt like I was gonna pop out (anyone who's been on The Matterhorn knows what I'm talking about). I'll say this about Paris though... it launches you and it goes upside down. I'm Mad. Still... Disneyland in California is my favorite! And great job putting this together.

yes the Space Mountain at Disneyland California is the best, but it isn't the fastest. the one in Paris is the fastest. it goes 44 mph. while the one in California goes 29 mph. still, Disneyland's Space Mountain is much better.

The space mountain at paris has a launch in the beginning, and I tought it was the only 1 that has loopings. That's why i think its the coolest. And because its different. But i'm not sure bout that looping thing, maybe you know ?

well i'm sure the spacemountain in paris has 2 or 3 loopings, i've been there last year so. But i've never even seen another park then disneyland paris.

The one in Paris looks so cheesy. Tokyo and Honk Kong outside views look similar to Anaheim, CA. That is what looks unique to me.

There's no other coaster you can compare it with. It has his own space mountain story. And the rock n roller coaster has its own story. Nothing to compare with. Just leave those thing, nobody wil win.

Paris's is probably the best , though it's an argue which one is second- Anahiem's or Orlando's. We'll have to wait after the Orlando one gets refurbished.
