Great video, thanks for showing the installation of the updated OS ROMs. I have a great affection for Acorn based computers and I think they were ahead of their time and the OS looks really good and pretty easy to get to grips with. I am sure you can sell that 80gb hard disk on. Whether you can get back your £30 is another story. So you have any retail games for this computer?
@UKRetroGames Yep getting the hard disk was a bit stupid in hindsight. Now I've wasted £30 on a disk which nobody will want! Maybe I can pawn it off to someone at work...
I will contact Mark from RetroClinic about the battery. It seems like you can use a AAA Ni-Cad to replace it, which is probably the best long term solution.
@markvergeer It has been like that since I bought the computer a few years ago. It's a soldering job to remove it a wire in a different type of battery.
@shaurz an AC soldering iron should only cost a couple quid, and if you wanna know about soldering jsut look at my vid on xbox usb controller mod for some soldering tips ;)

@DLiberator78 I don't have any original games for it, but I have downloaded some. I'm waiting for some 720K floppies so I can try them out.

Changing out a corroded battery probably is something you should look into rather soon as it really can ruin the motherboard.
