My son has an acer it s great better than my macbook (4 yr old one ) I was considering the new mac air 11 but the little machine you have there is much cheaper ... how does it perform for ordinary tasks like browsing web email can you transfer apple music pix onto it ?

Android is Linux - with a JavaVM on top of it for the interface and the apps. Also honestly, why would you ever run windows on a netbook. Microsoft's operating system model has never worked well with slower hardware. Even the Windows 7 box says recommended 2GB of ram and I have never really understood that. When you boot into the latest build of Ubuntu (10.10) it is only using 256MB - 384MB of ram. Android requires only 84MB and iOS 4 runs fantastically on 256MB.

@metalmaniac248 Chrome is awesome, but for lower speced computers(like 512MB RAM) it's a memory eater because of the tab isolation process. I had to switch back to Firefox, until I can upgrade my RAM. which is sad, cause it will be a while...

I have an Acer Aspire One D250 with Win Xp Home. Only difference between the two is the fact that this one has Android. Acer didnt change any specs at all. Its a great computer so hopefully it will come as an add on one day.

You have to check the laptop requierements and the system requierements of the game.

But for playng buy an HP,a Mackbook or a Toshiba Laptop.

My mackbook goes 10.

But you have to install Windows on a Boot Camp partition for playing games.
