i just got this in the mail yesterday
at first i thought that it was a little boring but
it got alot better as the movie went on.
joan gives one of her underrated best performances
she really deserved a nomination for this film.

Always have loved this film. Crawford often said once she made it she should have quit until "Mildred Pierce" came along. Terrific cast and the script, and film, operates at several levels. I often thought Rita Quigley, as Susan's sad child, stole the film.
