Hab das Ding heut bei ABB in Friedberg bewundern dürfen. Er ist halt klein ansonsten doch eher wenig spektakulär.

Auf den ersten Blick ist der IRB120 einfach ein kleiner Roboter wie jeder andere, ABER seine unvergleichliche Präzision und Positionswiederholgenauigkeit von 0,01mm (!) machen den kleinen Gesellen zum Sieger seiner Klasse.

My company has over 20 of Fanuc's LRMate robots,...As far as I can see ABB is still chasing FANUC ownership of the small robot market, and came up short again. Fanuc offers built in vision for little money...not sure how ABB matches this feature but looks like less of a robot for sure. Good luck..

budget robots should be a hit. I've been working with an IRB1600 at ANU, Australia. The wide array of applications of these small robots is very impressive!

The Faculty of Manufacturing and Induistrial Management Romania, Iasi. I've worked on IRB 140 with Irc 5. I've finished in Welding industry my licence project was drawing an object in Solid Edge and importing in Robot studio and simulating a welding operation.

Yes its really huge. By far the biggest in the 3kg class and as good as many 5kg robots.
