Yeah, it takes a while to get a feel for the little intricacies of the system.  Play around and figure them out over time. It's all just movement, space, and timing.

I've been playing this game on a PS3 the last two weeks. After 20 years of gaming, I'll be damned if the PS3 controller doesn't feel clumsy compared to the keyboard/mouse, at least in my opinion. My main beef, specifically, is with the quick batarang button, which never feels as responsive or consistent as it should.

To each his own. There are people out there playing this game on a pad who could teach me a thing or two, no doubt. It's all good.

Uh, yeah, this clearly isn't the PS3 version; the Youtube tag and video (button prompts, Steam overlay) gave that away, I though.

As for the AI, there are a lot of factors that determine AI behavior; they will always behave more passively if you've dealt damage to most of them and/or are using unstoppable attacks, as shown here.

Well, assuming the guy was playing "Totally Insane" (or whatever the hell it's called), it was set to Normal mode. All challenge modes, as far as I can tell, are set to normal. Fair play to guy; I wasn't fond of his style, but he got that shit done.

I watched the video, and I can't say I'm very blown away. It's impressive as a feat of endurance, maybe, but it's deadly boring to watch; all the guy really does is use more or less the same strategy I used in this video -- jump around like a crackhead and spam the everliving hell out of gadgets. The combo where some guy scored ~225x in the same room was far better from a purist's point of view, if you ask me.

Haha, thanks. To be honest, I think one could rack up a higher combo score in this section without too much extra trouble, even on Hard. I myself probably would have managed a higher score if I'd understood the combo system better at the time and hadn't been such a coward with all the gadget spamming. With solid nerves, planning, and timing, I'm betting one can score ~80+ in this room.

Very nice. I just started the game on Hard for the first time tonight, and I'm just starting to get used to the lack of combat indicators.. and the whole dying under two seconds of gunfire thing.. but yea, this is pretty impressive to me, having never fought so many guys on hard before... nor gotten a perfect combo on hard.

Thanks. You'll find that once you get used to Hard, the freeflow challenges are a piece of cake. As far as getting a perfect combo goes, a lot of it is just buying yourself time until your next move, so make friends with the cape stun. Probably the single most underused move in the game, but in terms of its usefulness in combo situations, arguably the most valuable. Good luck and have fun.

Yea.. I've started to notice that the cape stun move can catch like a large clump of inmates in one big stun, keeping them off your back for several moments while you deal with the rest of them..

i only used the cape-stun with the inmates you have to use it on

btw did the last two bits, (duel titans with the shitload of baddies, then joker with the baddies etc etc)) give you any trouble on hard? cuz i could take the two titan guys if it was just them, but them AND the inmates was really hard

what yu basically do for the 2 titans and inmates from joker is run around not throwing batarangs so most inmates kan get knocked down and some killed, and then when you do this about 4, 5 times, just begin attacking the inmates, throwing batarangs and itll be extremly easy. once i figred that out on my third or fourth try , it was simple and i had more than half my life.

Ps: i suck at fighting games so yu kan easily do it
