I'm actually not that fluent - I just can read hiragana and katakana (and some kanji) well. But simple video game dialogue - I might be able to read that. :P

During the minigame, that's not "th" by it, it's hiragana -ten. Not the number ten, it's just denoting how many bird points you have.
I'll have to play Super Mario World Kaizou sometime so you can translate it for me lol

That was a double eighth note, by the way. :P All the notes are eighth notes thusfar.
