HOW TO CONNECT A TURNTABLE TO PC/ MORE KENTUCKY TRAVELER'S

You connected TT output directly to MIC on PC?  I assume TT does not have a built in pre-amp because amped signal would way overload MIC input.

im trying to get my turntables running with tracktor wihout a mixer, is this possible, the part i dont understand is that , how the hell do you ground the turntable to a computer without a mixer???

You can hook your mixer and turntable's into your p.c by connecting your jacks from master out or booth out. into your mic in on your p.c. Than go to your mic settings to adjust your volume and record it. You may have to purchase some mic recording software dending on how old your p.c is. most of them are free. This way you can record all the music you've created.

Ive got 2 usb per amps, 2 decks and a mixer. How do i connect it to my PC? Right now i got my rca cables frm my decks going into my per amp and the output rca cable goin to my mixer, is that right?? coz it anit pickin up

It changes the RCA plugs ( red & white ) to an earbud like hookup. on my PC, The socket it connects to is light blue in color marked "in".

cause i have a turntable but it isnt loud enough

My turntable has a pre amp built in. You may also try adjusting the volume controls on your computer. Mine has several.

The turntable is a Teak P-A688. Yes, there are gadgets that are available to amplify turnatble sound. A search for turntable pre amp on ebay turns up several.
