In addition, I believe he just worked on a "boot" song for A.I. which will appear next week on elimination night. He'll probably start promoting his new album soon which we expect to be released in March/April/May. I don't keep up with Archie & though I heard he released an album which sold poorly and now Jive dropped him. That's all.

When David Archuleta did a Beatles song, he forgot some words and mumbled through it and said he didn't even know who the Beatles were. He wasn't very original and didn't re-arrange any songs. He seemed out of breath in a lot of the songs he did too.

It's too bad that Archie fans are still so bitter. David Cook won by 12 million votes. Both of them are talented; however Archie fans have gotten a reputation for not only being fanatic (which isn't a good thing) but also childish. I've seen so many attacks against Cook it's ridiculous even after all this time. It's time to MOVE on. Archie had as much opportunity to be successful as Cook. Cook and Archie are friends & Cook asked his fans to buy Archie's album. Did Archie do the same?

They released him for the obvious fact that his album sales, since released in September, was only 67K. They were losing money on him. It's economics and nothing personal. @xxhailybabexx That's because you don't follow him. He been working on his album, doing a few concerts but mostly busy with album. He's just finished mixing. In addition, I believe he just worked on a "boot" song for A.I. which will appear next week on elimination night. He'll probably start promoting his new album soon which we expect to be released in March/April/May. I don't keep up with Archie & though I heard he released an album which sold poorly and now Jive dropped him. That's all.

@Sapphireine Consistent? He messed up a number of lyrics in some of his performances and he got to be boring mid-way through with all the old-fashioned ballads he did all the time. When David Archuleta did a Beatles song, he forgot some words and mumbled through it and said he didn't even know who the Beatles were. He wasn't very original and didn't re-arrange any songs. He seemed out of breath in a lot of the songs he did too.
