  • I I did two sets of pushups (from knees) today. 1 x 15 and 1 x 12. Thanks for the tip on division. I'll try it next time. any plans for a dvd or any advice (uncomplicated) how I could take this downstairs to the dvd/tv? Thanks again.

Try my suggestion every other day for a month and you should notices great improvements. As for the dvd.. I wish! lol but I don't have that kind of money to make them.

The simplest way I can think of for getting the videos on to your tv would be to connect your computer to your tv and use your tv as a monitor. I'm not even 100% sure if that's possible but maybe something you can look into.

  • appreciate the explanation on the pushup differences. hey, i still have to do most p.u.s from my knees...ack. Great video on here....thanks.

  • cool. would be nice to have a no nonsense dvd like this.

I wonder, though, what is the benefit of having a kettlebell in the pushup as to doing a regular pushup? Just asking. Thanks.

  • @BJ1047

The benefit of performing the kettlebell push up is that it is a uni-lateral movement. By working one side at a time, you ensure that both your left and right sides are worked evenly which helps prevent and correct any muscle imbalances such as having a stronger or bigger right side versus the left. Since it is ultimately an assisted one-arm push up, they will also increase your performance of the standard push up.

I hope this helps and thanks for watching. - Mark
