@ncpr707 also you can get that game off PSN or play it through remote play, I have RE 1, 2, and 3 on my PSP, you dont need to format anything theres much easier way to get it like for example go to Playstation store and push download and thats much easier!

Theres coming an official resident evil for psp its called RE Portable,but no trailer has come out yet or an image only there is the annoucment on E3 and in IGN
i'm not too sure. it would have to be a plugin that you enable through the hacked firmware. install, check psp hackss for plugin, and then turn off device. hold down Right bumper and turn on. under plugins, you will then enable your cheat plugin... if available.

custom firmware rocks and with popsloader u can play any ps1 game you want I have the whole resident evil ps1 trilogy excluding survivor which was terrible working on psp now if any1 wants to know use the game id SLPS-01222 to make resi 2 and 3 work resi 3 u need to use 3.4 pops and resi 2 u need to use 3.8 pops after all this its flawless.
if u dont have custom firmware you will likely have no idea what im talking about.

I have two memory sticks and a pandora battery on the way. One memory stick is 512mb, the other 4gb. If I make a magic memory stick out of the 512 just for the purpose of the putting the cfw on my psp, can I use the 4gb for the games and content post-downgrade?

certain games function better on certain versions of firmware. 3.71 might not work compared to 3.80 it might work but with no sound... but maybe it works perfectly on 4.01. POPSLOADER (not popstation) , loads different versions of firmware as a plugin on your PSP. POPSTATION is a PC program that converts PSX to PSP format. cheers!
it can't be hacked yet. sorry. they have made a pandora battery that will put it in service mode, but they have been unable to flash custom firmware. sorry.

yes sir. using some screen capture software... and a program called PrometeuSPro to do the ISO to eboot conversion. Dag0watt is the ish. he made a sick psx to psp program for the mac. i even donated, but you don't have to... since the program demo is free and allows you to do everything the full version does. CHEERS!
the psp 3000 can be hacked. see the engadget article "PSP 3000 finally, inevitably hacked by Datel's Lite Blue Tool". and as long as you are running custom firmware, then yes, this will work.
i tried to rip RE from the disc, i'm using a mac and prometeus pro and i keep getting a message saying that it doesn't recognize the game id i'm using 4.01 m33-2 CFW any suggestions?
are you using Dark AleX's popsloader? Because you should. Torrent search for "full popsloader". you want the "full" one. not just the one from his site. ALSO, go to my psx for psp video, and look in the more info section. There is a compatibility list that will be helpful. It will tell you what version of firmware to "pop" with popsloader.
You NEED custom firmware. So your PSP will need to be unlocked and flashed with CFW. And as far as downloading goes... my website will be up some time in Jan. Stay tuned in for the final word.

good question. I don't have a PS3 but I would assume you would need CUSTOM FIRMWARE for this to be possible. I did hear that someone did crack and code a custom firmware for the PS3 but I could be wrong. But your FIRST step would be to look for custom firmware for the PS3 and how to install or "flash" it to the PS3. good luck.
i've found that MOST psx games will work on 3.80 or 3.71 CFW m33. i also run popStation just incase. but you are correct these two FW's are pretty solid. although I haven't had any probS with 4.0 wotever... cfw.
The Original RE game was by far the most graphic and truly scary video game for me. I was in sixth or seventh grade when it came out (fuck i'm getting old)... and my friend and I would play it late at night, and freak ourselves out every now and again. Good story, great game play, revolutionary gore for it's time.
the first Resident Evils are classic, and should definitly be played. The controls were used by every 3d action game. And when RE4 was made, every game after that stole their controls as well.
Definitly play the old RE games if you like the series or plot.

I saw in my zombie magazine and it said that RE2 was released in 2007 on the PS3 and PSP, are u able to get it in Canada or only Japan and US?

not too sure. altho i heard that re1 and re2 were released on psn for japan. but wether or not you can download and play on your psp... idk. i don't live in japan. you could always just hack your psp and rock out with your cock out as I have.

i think as long as its not the psp 3000 you should be able to. you just need a pandora battery. you can purchase one online, or go to psp hacks and make your own.

yes sir. using some screen capture software... and a program called PrometeuSPro to do the ISO to eboot conversion. Dag0watt is the ish. he made a sick psx to psp program for the mac. i even donated, but you don't have to... since the program demo is free and allows you to do everything the full version does. the psp 3000 can be hacked. see the engadget article "PSP 3000 finally, inevitably hacked by Datel's Lite Blue Tool". and as long as you are running custom firmware, then yes, this will work.

i tried to rip RE from the disc, i'm using a mac and prometeus pro and i keep getting a message saying that it doesn't recognize the game id i'm using 4.01 m33-2 CFW any suggestions?

are you using Dark AleX's popsloader? Because you should. Torrent search for "full popsloader". you want the "full" one. not just the one from his site. ALSO, go to my psx for psp video, and look in the more info section. There is a compatibility list that will be helpful. It will tell you what version of firmware to "pop" with popsloader.

you will have to convert your disk image of resident evil to eboot format. then put on your hacked psp with custom firmware. good luck.

You NEED custom firmware. So your PSP will need to be unlocked and flashed with CFW. And as far as downloading goes... my website will be up some time in Jan. Stay tuned in for the final word.

good question. I don't have a PS3 but I would assume you would need CUSTOM FIRMWARE for this to be possible. I did hear that someone did crack and code a custom firmware for the PS3 but I could be wrong. But your FIRST step would be to look for custom firmware for the PS3 and how to install or "flash" it to the PS3. good luck.

i've found that MOST psx games will work on 3.80 or 3.71 CFW m33. i also run popStation just incase. but you are correct these two FW's are pretty solid. although I haven't had any probS with 4.0 wotever... cfw.

The Original RE game was by far the most graphic and truly scary video game for me. I was in sixth or seventh grade when it came out (fuck i'm getting old)... and my friend and I would play it late at night, and freak ourselves out every now and again. Good story, great game play, revolutionary gore for it's time.

the first Resident Evils are classic, and should definitly be played. The controls were used by every 3d action game. And when RE4 was made, every game after that stole their controls as well.
Definitly play the old RE games if you like the series or plot.
