The correct and only way to do a "PROPER" bench press is to control the weight on the way down and stop it roughly 1 inch above your chest then power the weight up in a straight line and repeat.. If the weight touches your chest u have lost control and this acts as a negative towards your muscle..This video shows perfect exacution and the exercise is done correctly.a powerlifter might touch his chest but not a bodybuilder! big difference

Yer keep at it man, i remember when i go to 140kg was chuffed is a good milestone, now 2 years later on i warm up on 140kg and finish on 180-190kg, i have a vid on my profile of me doing 140kg for 10 reps but is on the decline but is pretty old now i only do flat bench.
im now doing sets of 6 plus on 115 and my max is 150 lol my max never seems to go up so i have started doing less reps ! you have to rep small but heavy to press big ! well i was doing 5 sets of ten on 100kg but i have changed my workout and i have put on 3 kilos in the process ! im still natural untill i plato lol

I još jedna stvar, koji večina griješi (i ja to radim kad dižem 100kg, jebiga), nemoj dizati guzicu, opasno je, kičma ti pati, a i na taj način 30 posto dižeš nogama. Ali to svi rade, jednostavno je naturalna kretnja zbog prevelike težine.
Svaka čast, izrazito cjenim ljude kao što si ti, takvih nemamo u našoj teretani, imam 16 godina, 73kg, meni je 1 rep max 100kg, ali više sam orjentiran definiciji. gottspieler ima u jednu ruku pravo, ja imam frenda od 105kg koji bencha isto 100kg, a uopće se nije trebao truditi koliko i ja da do toga dođe. Ali zato moja prsa izgledaju 15 puta bolje od njegovih. Po meni je važna razlika između podignute težine i vlastite. Najimpresivnije je od svega ovo "drugs free", svaka čast majstore.
