I think it's how you go about brushing your hair that makes the difference. You start at the bottom and work your way to the roots. It causes breakage when you start at the root and work down because the hair gets tangled easier.

i know i cant do this right now because my hair is a little too short, BUT i have tried to pick my hair out a little before...and for some reason it just coils right back up!! why is that? do i need some type of product? im 4a/4b by the way.

ummmm yea are u just picking it out to do a style? like if are goin for huge picked out from loook n ur hair wont stretch try blowing it out on low heat or on cool......yea if ur hair is wet and and u comb out wil shrink, or if ur hair is damp or air is humid of full of moisture that will happen also

oooh umm i was just gonna suggest a style idea..i say a cute updo like ItsmsHeatherNicole has on her page is nice...or Crownofhisglory has some classy styles that cud work for bday dinner..for movies u cud be wild like frohawk or half hawk , or one thats good for both event if ur going same day u can try a chanky twistout fro that wud be fierce
